- Histamine Manager contains 20,000 HDU per tablet of the active enzyme Diamine Oxidase (DAO) responsible for neutralizing histamine in your digestive tract. Histamine-containing foods may not be the only culprit of your symptoms. Histamine is naturally created during digestion. Due to genetics or autoimmune conditions, your body may not make enough DAO to degrade the histamine in your digestive tract. Supplement with Histamine Manager to increase available DAO during digestion.
- Eat and drink with ease and confidence. Histamine Manager allows you to enjoy histamine-releasing foods and more, especially red wine. If you are sensitive to histamine, you know that red wine contains histamine, liberates histamine, and blocks the action of DAO. If you want to avoid a histamine reaction, headache, or allergy-like reaction, take 1 tablet up to 15 minutes before you eat a meal, snack, or drink alcohol.
- Diamine Oxidase (DAO) is your bodys digestive enzyme that breaks down histamine in food or histamine created during digestion. Signs of histamine intolerance are gas, bloating, headaches, sinus issues, food sensitivities. Following a low-histamine diet may not be enough to alleviate all histamine reactions especially when eating histamine-rich foods.
