- Mix Indigo powder in a bowl with warm water into a paste and set aside until the pigment is released, for good pigment extraction you can leave the paste for 30 minutes and no more than 2 hours.
- Wash your hair Oil-Free and Chemical Free and dry them prior to application. Apply the paste evenly through the hair area, and let it soak, you can cover the hair area using shower cap or plastic bag. Carefully apply to the hair as the paste could stain the skin.
- Allow the paste to settle or dry through for at least one hour.
- Rinse and Wash away, Do not use use Shampoo or Conditioner or any other chemicals for the next 2-3 days.
- For brighter reddishblue tones results you can mix it with proportions of henna to get darker stains like dark brown to black depending on the proportion. If you get stains on the skins usually washes away in couple of days.
